Pajamas Sizing

Why are Petidoux pajamas tight and snug-fitted ?

Our pajamas are snug-fitted  because we strictly follow US regulations on children sleepwear flammability standards to protect our little ones.

C.F.R. Parts 1615 & 1616, states that " children pajamas must be flame-retardant or snug-fitted".

We make our pajamas snug-fitted in order to offer our customers the softest natural fiber.

Our luxuriously soft Pima cotton, without any chemicals or synthetics, comply with snug-fit measurements put in place by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Although it may be necessary to size up for most children, you can be certain that your child is safe in our sleepwear.

We would happy to help you choose the perfect size for your little ones.

What is the purpose of the children’s sleepwear flammability standards?

To protect children from burns, these rules require that children’s sleepwear must be flame resistant and self-extinguish if a flame from a candle, match, lighter or a similar item causes it to catch fire. The rules cover all children’s sleepwear above size 9 months and up to size 14 and require that

- the fabric and garments must pass certain flammability tests; or

- be "tight fitting" as defined by specified dimensions
