  SNUG-FITTED PAJAMAS

We make our pajamas tight and snugged to eliminate any risk of accidental burns.

"What is the purpose of the children’s sleepwear flammability standards? To protect children from burns, these rules require that children’s sleepwear must be flame resistant and self- extinguish if a flame from a candle, match, lighter or a similar item causes it to catch fire. The rules cover all children’s sleepwear above size 9 months and up to size 14 and require that (1) the fabric and garments must pass certain flammability tests; or (2) be "tight fitting" as defined by specified dimensions."

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT PETIDOUX [peh- TEE-doo]

Petidoux is a French made-up word, which means small ("petit" pronounced [peh-TEE] and soft ("doux" [doo]....

I started Petidoux , just as my first born turn 3 year old, to provide parents with a classical offering of luxury pajamas and play sets, made from the best available Peruvian Pima cotton, modern patterns, retro inspired, and, above all, the softest touch anywhere. I also use a special Pantone's gold yellow color for my Petidoux logo because it's a both a great spring color and the color of my favorite flower, a beautifully delicate buttercup flower or " bouton d'or".

I have been sewing and knitting since I was a child with both my Italian Grandmother and my French mother. I made many projects both for home and at school but by the time I had to go to University, my pragmatic father sent me to study Finance and Economics, worked on both LIFFE and for a great consultancy firm... But before starting Petidoux, I learnt to make both men and women’s hats as a milliner at Worth & Worth, in Manhattan.
